Maharashtra TET Results 2017: Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has successfully conducted the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) 2017 on July 22 across various centers in the state. The examination will be conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teachers. So, the candidates who are eligible applied and appeared for Maharashtra TET examination. Now, MSCE has released the Maharashtra TET Results 2017 at the official website. Maha TET 2017 will be conducted in two shifts wherein Paper 1 will be conducted in the morning shift from 10.30 am to 1 pm and Paper 2 will be conducted in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Paper 1 is meant for the teachers who are interested in teaching subjects from Class 1 to 5 whereas Paper 2 is for Class 6 to 8. Both the papers will consist of 150 multiple choice questions and the candidates will have to answer the questions in the OMR sheet which will be provided to them in the exam hall. Each question will carry 1 mark, hence the maximum marks will be 150 in TET exam.
As per the reports, approximately 2.76 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. According to a report in The Indian Express, this year the pass percentage has been dropped in comparison to previous years. Only two people out of 100 have managed to pass the examination. This year, of the 1,58,250 candidates who had appeared for the TET in all three mediums, 4.27 per cent cleared Paper I, while 2.30 per cent i.e. 2,732 of 1,18,561 candidates cleared Paper II.
