Haryana 10th Results 2017: Haryana Board of School Education to release the results on May 20 in the official website. Nearly 4 lakh students awaits the results who have appeared for the examination. The strength of the candidates improved than the previous year as 3.18 lakh people appeared for the 10th class examinations last year. This shows the increase in people opt education.

Meenakshi Sharda, deputy director, PRO has confirmed the results will be released post the press conference. “We have organised the press conference on May 20 and the secretary will announce the results. Also, class 12th results will be uploaded on the official website between 3:30 to 4 pm on May 18,” said Sharda. Students who appeared for the examination can check their results online in official website

Haryana 10th Results 2017 to Declare Tomorrow in Official Website:

A total of 3,88,205 students have given the 10th class examination. Out of these 3.88 Lakh, 1,43,676 are girl students while 1,75,166 are boys. In the Open School category, 55654 students are from Class 10 while 57460 candidates from Class 12 have registered for the board exam. The exam were started from March 7 and were held in 1618 exam centres. Haryana Board of School Education has conducted board exams for the Class X students from March 7th to till March 25th, 2017 across the state.

Last year, about 3.17 lakh students sat for the class 10th examination where 1.70 lakh were boys and 1.44 lakh were girls. The girls performed better by registering a pass percentage of 52.62 per cent as compared to 45.71 per cent of the boys. Interestingly, the rural candidates have scored better than their urban counterparts.

About Board:

The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE), which is established in 1969 is the authority which conducts the Public Examinations at Secondary or High School and Senior Secondary School levels twice a year in the state of Haryana through the affiliated schools. The board conducts examinations twice in a year for Class 8th, 10th and 12th. The first semester exams conduct in September while second semester exam conduct in the month of March.
