SSC CGL Tier 1 Cut Off 2017: 1,50,404 Qualified For SSC CGL Tier 2


The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the results of the combined graduate level (CGL), Tier 1, examination 2017 which held in the month of August. A total of 15,43,418 candidates appeared in the exam while over 30.26 lakh candidates registered for it. Overall, 1,50,404 aspirants have qualified SSC CGL 2017 Tier I. The successful candidates will now have to sit for Tier-II exam. SSC will take account of marks of the Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III to calculate the final score. The SSC CGL 2017 tier II examinations are scheduled to be held from December 21 to 24th.The admit cards for these will be available approximately 10 days before the start of tier II exams, says the official statement of SSC.

The commission has released category-wise cut-off marks in three lists. On the basis of CGL (Tier-I) exam 2017, the number of candidates provisionally qualified for Tier-II and Tier-III are: Tier-II (Paper-I and II) and Tier-III : 1,50,404, Tier-II (Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III) and Tier-III : 10,311 (Only for post of JSO), Tier-II (Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-IV) and; Tier-III : 15,450 (Only for posts of AAO).

Candidates may also know their cutoff marks along with the results. According to which, candidates qualifying for tier II (paper I & II) and tier III have the following cutoffs:

UR – 131
OBC – 115
SC – 103
ST – 93
Ex.Servicemen – 73.50
OH – 87
HH – 40
VH – 89.50

The cut off for candidates who applied for JSO post is given below:

General – 151.00
OBC – 140.00
SC – 127.50
ST – 117.00
OH – 104.50
HH – 62.00
VH – 116.00
Candidates who have qualified for JSO post will appear for paper I, II and paper III (statistics) in tier II exam.

The cut off for candidates who had also applied for AAO post is given below:
General – 152.50
OBC – 140.50
SC – 129.00
ST – 123.00
OH – 113.50
HH – 79.00

Candidates who have qualified for AAO post will appear for paper I, II and paper IV (General Studies, Finance and Accounts) in tier II exam. Click here to download the cutoff marks for each category.
