Very soon Dulquer to be seen in Nag Ashwin’s Savitri in which he’s playing Gemini Ganesa in Telugu. Dulquer has reportedly agreed to play one of the lead roles in an untitled film to be produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The film also stars Irrfan Khan in a lead role. After delivering hits like Mani Ratnam’s O Kadhal Kanmani (made in Hindi as OK Jaanu), Anjali Menon’s Bangalore Days and Martin Prakkat’s Charlie, Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan is popular in Bollywood as well.

The film marks the directorial debut of Akarsh Khurana, who has co-written the script with Hussain Dalal, the dialogue writer for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and 2 States. The film is not a commercial entertainer but the story has a light-hearted comedy that will see Dulquer and Irrfan as friends on a road trip. The film rolls by the month end in Kerala as the sources say.
Dulquer is gearing up for the release of Bejoy Nambiar’s Malayalam-Tamil bilingual, Solo, and Soubin Shahir’s Malayalam film Parava. Irrfan is at the Locarno Film Festival for the world premiere of The Song of Scorpions. Touted to be an entertainer, the movie will start rolling by the end of August. The charming star is one of the finest actors in South.
