Director SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2 has broken all the record in Indian Cinema and has grossed Rs 1450 cr worldwide since release. Now, Baahubali 2 has impressed the neighbouring country Pakistan and received positive reviews. Reportedly, The film has raked Rs 4.5 at Box office. After a long time, It is the first dubbed regional film which got the recognition in Pakistan. Now, According to trade figures suggest, The film is expected to collect 6 crore Pakistani rupees at the box office.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, that the film is running in at least a 100 screens there. Veteran Pakistani distributor Amjad Rasheed was quoted as saying, “The film has especially got a huge response in single screens, even though it purports mythology and Hindu tradition to a certain extent.”
Rasheed also added, “There were initial problems in the film’s release due to speculation. There were also apprehensions whether it would get the clearance from the Pakistan Censor Board. own to be extra scrupulous about the clearance of all films released in Pakistan, “There are some very basic parameters one of them being that a film should not have no pointers towards religion or have anti-Pakistani references. The PCB did not order a single cut in the film since it did not find anything objectionable about it. Likewise the exhibitors were also unanimous in their opinion that the film has nothing controversial in it.”
Baahubali 2 is a continuation of super hit film ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ which released 2015. The film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Anushka, Tamannaah, and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles. It is bankrolled by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner, Arka Media Works. It is said to have made with a whopping Rs 250 Cr budget and already raked in Rs 400-500 crore as part of its theatrical satellite rights.
