JanaSena to contest in 175 constituencies in Andhra Pradesh Says Pawan Kalyan


Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday said that the Jana Sena party would contest all 175 Assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh during the 2019 polls.On Monday  Pawan Kalyan held a meeting with key leaders of all 13 districts at the Party office and introduced the Party’s chief political strategist Dev.  Pawan Kalyan said, “Dev has been working with the Jana Sena party for 10 months and  he will be working on election plans and the institutional policy designing.”

Pawan further said,The party would go all out with a public tour by Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, and the schedule will be announced on May 11 with the leader going to the masses.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan, who addressed a meeting of key activists of all 13 districts of AP at the party office here, introduced party’s chief political strategist Dev to the participants and said that he would be working on election plans and institutional policy designing.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan said Janasena was a first generation political party with majority people from middle class families but its activists had the experience of at least two general elections. Party’s construction would be done in a disciplined manner with strong ideologies to represent the voice of the common man.

The party’s election plan for Telangana would be announced by August second week, he said.” Kalyan, younger brother of Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, had formed the Jana Sena in 2014. He supported the TDP-BJP alliance in undivided Andhra Pradesh in the 2014 assembly polls.

He, however, has been critical of TDP and BJP on different issues, including the NDA government not according special category status to Andhra Pradesh as promised by the
saffron party.
