It’s Official, the most prestigious Hyderabad Metro Rail is set to launch on November 28th. The HMR will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and services will be opened to the public on November 29. The route from Miyapur to Nagole which is stretched at 30 km will be operational immediately after inauguration.
According to the latest update, The authorities of HMR would launch a mobile app, ‘TSavaari,’ at Metro inauguration event. The mobile app would provide a comprehensive transport solution, with information on all modes of transport for a journey whether it is a TSRTC bus, MMTS train, metro trains and later even private carriers, said senior metro rail officials, Said to The Hindu.
Through this mobile app, the people will be able to take the information of buses and trains and also will be enabled to purchase online tickets. Commuters downloading the app would get an update on the nearest TSRTC bus stops and efforts have been on to provide live information on the bus frequency. Apart from ticket tokens that can be purchased at counters at all the stations, a prepaid card of ₹200 would be made available for passengers. But the common smartcard ticket for buses, metro rail and even the MMTS trains would take many months from now.
