Asansol : A Police Sub inspector Krishna Sadhan Mondal who hails duty from West Bengal  Hirapur police station, On Sunday Cop Video Went Viral in Social Media which  inspector Krishna Sadhan Mondal Shaking his legs and dancing for a bollywood song inside police station during duty hours, Video Shows Cop Matching steps with ‘Tukur Tukur Dekhte Ho Kya’ Mr Mondal, who is said to be fond of music, started dancing with his service revolver in the holster in his waist in front of the lock-up. His male and female colleagues were seen laughing and clapping to encourage him. All this, just opposite a lock-up at the police station packed with accused criminals.

So as soon as Video went viral in social media Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate has ordered a probe into the incident. “Conduct of an officer in Bengal Police is guided by the Police Regulations Bengal, 1943. Apart from that, each government employee is also guided by Government Servants Conduct Rules, 1960. Such incidents, if come to the view of people, can lower the image of the police in public eye. Moreover, discipline and efficiency optimization of the force could also be compromised by such acts,” said an IPS officer.

Sub inspector Mondol has suspended, along with the officer who shot the video and posted it online, where it went viral.  The two policemen have been asked to explain their actions and authorities are also trying to find out whether outsiders were present during the incident.

Moreover Laxmi Narayan Meena, commissioner of Asansol-Durgapur Commissionerate, asked DC (HQ) Arindam Dutta Chowdhury to conduct a probe. “We have closed the two officers in the interest of public service with immediate effect,” Meena said. The offending officers in such cases are asked to explain the reason for the conduct.
