One thing we need to notice about RCs is that the bikes are made to look like single seaters, with pillion seat looking like plastic moulding, but you’ll be surprised to find out they are foamy and offer good cushioning. In fact, the 2017 RCs come with 12mm of extra padding, to offer more comfortable ride to pillion as well as the rider. The RC 390 stickers have been placed at the centre of fairing and towards the tail end. The motorcycle carries over the same 373.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that generates 43.4bhp at 9,500rpm and 35Nm torque at 7,250rpm, mated to six-speed transmission.
2017 KTM RC 200, the motorcycle continues to draw its power from the same 199.5cc engine that runs the outgoing model. The fuel injected motor churns out a peak power of 24.6 bhp with a maximum torque of 19.2 Nm. It gets a 300mm disc brake at front, while a 230mm disc brake
Both these models are scheduled for India launch later this year. The already well established RC range, if launched at a competitive price tag under its next generation will dig its roots deeper in the price sensitive Indian two-wheeler market.Unconfirmed reports suggest that the price will be INR 2.15 lakh which is about 20,000 more than the 2017 KTM Duke 390.
