Uttar Pradesh Polls Turns Chaotic Replacing the Candidates:

Atiq Ahmed who took the party membership in 2013, is being contested as one of its contender from Kanpur Cantonment area. No one thought about this change from a state president of a big political group. Even there is another surprise coming as the State minister Azam Khan’s younger son Abdullah Azam has been given a ticket from Swar in his home District of Rampur.

Mukhtar Ansari’s brother Sibghatullah has been fielded from Mohammadabad in Ghazipur, a seat he had won in 2012 on a QED ticket. QED had merged with SP, allegedly a major reason behind the friction between Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and his uncle Shivpal which made a difference in the party standings of the candidates this term.
