Campbell Brown Joined Facebook: Campbell Brown who is a leading Anchor in CNN and NBC now joined Facebook. Facebook recruited her in order to give the users of facebook a well and established news which is not fake. Facebook faced the wrath of trending fake news against Donald Trump as well as Hillary Clinton which made it recruit Campbell. This recruitment was taken by surprise and many were in the same situation.

Campbell’s recruitment came as repairing the online social media company’s relationships that are troubled with the traditional media. In the latest new role at Facebook, Brown will lead Facebook’s news partnerships unit, which works with media outlets which publish content on Facebook. This will make the situation of stopping the fake news a little better than expected.

With the growth of Facebook’s role in trending news and users feeds, the company is more careful at aiming more news publishing. Campbell has 15 years of experience at Time Warner Inc’s CNN and Comcast Corp’s NBC News unit, will be given the role of helping and interacting news organizations and reporters and work more closely and more effectively with Facebook.

“I will be working directly with our partners to help them understand how Facebook can expand the reach of their journalism, and contribute value to their businesses,” wrote Campbell. Facebook executives told media that Campbell will not be the Editor-in-Chief but will be closely working to increase the business of Facebook and give users a quality news which they trust.
