Moto X Play Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update: Android Nougat was launched in mid 2016 and now it is being rolled out to many smartphones one by one. It is time for Moto X to get the latest android version very soon while Moto G4 Play, Droid Maxx 2 are on the line to get this next to Moto X Play. Motorola is yet to roll out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Moto X Play even weeks after announcing its update.

This update brings important improvements to your phone,” wrote Motorola in its blog with the headline “Moto X Play- Android 7.1.1 Software Update. Other handsets that are expected to get the OS soon are the Moto Z and Moto Z Play. The devices that currently run on Android 7.0 Nougat will get the latest version as they are in the testing phase now.

Moto X Play Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update Announced Yet to be Released:

Motorola has already announced Android 7.0 Nougat Update to Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Droid Force, Moto Z Play, Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen) aka Moto X Style, Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, and Droid Turbo 2. There are other mobiles which can handle the process and OS of Android 7.0 Nougat but there were only a little which gets the update in order to keep the performance.

Coming to the specs of Moto X Play, the smartphone features a 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch. It is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

As far as the camera is concerned, Moto X Play sports a 21-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
