Motorola Moto C Plus India Launch Confirmed for June 19th Powered by MediaTek Processor


Motorola Moto C Plus India Launch: Motorola has been launching the devices but they are not in India yet. This time it comes with the launch of Moto C Plus to India which will be launched on June 19. It is the successor or the bigger version of Moto C which was already launched in India for Rs 5999. Before India, Moto C & Moto C Plus are already made available in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific markets.

Earlier this year, Lenovo has launched the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones. Motorola declared that the Moto G5 was an Amazon India exclusive while the Moto G5 Plus was a Flipkart. We have to see whether Motorola chooses Amazon or Flipkart for the launch of Moto C Plus. Motorola recently launched the Moto Z2 Play in India at Rs 27,999 which also has support for the Mods.

Motorola Moto C Plus India Launch Confirmed for June 19:

Coming to the specifications, Moto C Plus features a 5-inch display with a HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution instead of FWVGA. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. Moto C Plus also has two variants of smartphone with 1GB or 2GB of RAM along 16GB of inbuilt storage which can also be expandable up to 32 GB using MircoSD card.

Moto C Plus sports an 8MP shooter (f/2.2 aperture) in the rear, while the front camera is a 2MP camera (f/2.8 aperture). Moto C Plus gets a much bigger 4,000mAh removable battery than the 2350mAh battery seen on Moto C. The handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The Moto C Plus was introduced starting at €119 which is (~Rs 8300). So the smartphone is expected to launch between Rs 8000 and Rs 9000.

Moto C Plus is also expected to be available in four color variants which are Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black just like Moto C. Motorola is expected to launch the dual-SIM 4G VoLTE variant of Moto C Plus in India.
