Lenovo owned Motorola is all set to launch its flagship smartphone, Moto Z2 Force, in India on February 15. The official Motorola India Twitter account is teasing the launch event of Moto Z2 Force. The company wrote, “What good is your ‘flagship phone’ if you’re always stuck to your charger and paying for screen replacements!? To end your #FlagshipHardship, the Limited Edition #MotoZ2Force with #MotoTurboPowerPack is on its way! Unveiling on 15th February at 12 noon”.
Initially, Motorola launched the Moto Z2 Force internationally in July last year. After Seven months of official launch, Motorola is now bringing the Moto Z2 Force to India. The limited edition model will come bundled with the Moto TurboPower pack which was launched in India in December last year with a price tag of Rs 5,999.
The Moto Z2 Force features a metal and glass design language and comes with a shatter-proof 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor. Internationally, the smartphone was launched in two storage variant – one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and the other with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The Moto Z2 Force features two 12MP sensors at the back– a primary RGB sensor and a secondary monochrome sensor. The phone also offers a Portrait mode, besides a 5MP selfie camera at the front. The other features of the Moto Z2 Force include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 2730mAh battery supporting a TurboPower charger.
Rumours suggest that Motorola will bring the high-end variant to India that will run Android Oreo and is expected to be priced below Rs 40,000. Motorola’s hosting its February 15 launch event live on YouTube at 12 noon.
