OnePlus 5 Tops AnTuTu Benchmark Ranking: OnePlus is the company which makes everyone look at it interestingly as it produce flagship smartphones at very aggressive rates. This time, the smartphone is in the news topping AnTuTu Benchmark ranking. It has a total benchmarking score of 181194. This has given the company a strength over others to make much more better devices while continuing the same price.

XDA-Developers discovered that the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T had been programmed to cheat in benchmark apps in order to maximize their scores. They also quoted that, OnePlus is manipulating benchmarks with its latest smartphone, but this time, it’s more ‘blatant’ and ‘consciously introduced.’ OnePlus is accused because all little cores are affected and kept at 1.9 GHz, the OnePlus 5 is able to achieve some of the highest GeekBench 4 scores of a Snapdragon 835 device to date.

As the annual flagship model of OnePlus, OnePlus 5 is powered by Snapdragon 835 mobile platform, paired with Adreno 540 GPU, and offers two alternative memory combinations of 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage and 8 GB RAM/128 GB internal storage. The hardware configuration of this model has reached high-end level of the moment, which laid solid hardware foundation for its strong performance.

Samsung Galaxy S8+(G955F) and Samsung Galaxy S8 (G950F), which are both powered by Exynos 8895 processor ranked third and fourth respectively with narrow gap. Surprisingly, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 were both squeezed out of the top 5 positions. With regard to the Android list, OnePlus 5 surpassed HTC U11 to become the best performance Android phone of June. Meanwhile, the Exynos 8895-powered Galaxy S8|S8+ (note:G950Fand G955F)and Snapdragon 835-powered Galaxy S8|S8+ (note: G9550 and G950U) also appeared on the list.
