OnePlus 6 release is fast approaching and the company is not leaving to tease and create the interest in users. The company has now teased an image of OnePlus 6 underneath a OnePlus 5T. The major difference we see is the position of SIM card tray at the same place of alert slider in 5T. That means the alert slider is going to be in the right side of your OnePlus 6 device.
The OnePlus 6 Android flagship will support a “slide to focus” functionality that will allow its owners to utilize the device’s Alert Slider as a focusing mechanism. There no much detail about this feature but the alert slider might be the one which can double up as focusing slider as well in the new OnePlus 6. The “slide to focus” functionality will likely be optional, as is the case with most OxygenOS features which users can usually disable at will.
OnePlus 6 will offer more display real estate and a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 90-percent which was made possible with the addition of a display notch. The official release date of the device is not yet announced but the rumor around the device shows that the company is planning to launch the device on May 5th and the device will be retailed as soon as it is launched.
OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 and a maximum of 8GB of RAM, in addition to boasting up to 256GB of internal flash memory. While the company traditionally offers two models of its Android devices, this spring may see that strategy shift to three releases as the base variant of the OnePlus 6 is still expected to have 64GB of storage space.
