Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus Render Leaked; Shows Full-Screen Display With 18:9 Aspect Ratio


Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite. Now, Company working hard for its next smartphone in Redmi Series. Many sources revealed that Xiaomi set to launch its new Redmi smartphones – Redmi 5 Plus by the end of this year. The new Redmi 5 Plus render was surfaced online on Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. The image is in line with the hands-on picture we saw earlier this month.

On that note, new leaked photo shows that the smartphone will sport a thin-bezel design with a large display supporting the trendy, new 18:9 aspect ratio. With this, the brand might be bringing its first full-screen design to the mid-range market segment.

The render reveals it will feature a FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio and it is expected to be a 5.5-inch full HD+ display. On the back side, It is vertically stacked dual camera setup with dual-LED flash and fingerprint sensor placed below it. The rear fingerprint sensor placement seems similar to that of the Redmi Note 4dual rear camera setup.  Meanwhile, the rear shooters could be 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel combination.

Rumours suggest that, this new device is powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC or Snapdragon 630 SoC. It will possibly launch in two variants of 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The smartphone will run Android Nougat based MIUI 9 and it will be backed up by 4000 mAh battery. As of now, there are no official confirmation regarding Specs, Launch Date from the company.
