Redmi Note 4: Chinese Smartphone maker Xiaomi(Mi), is likely to released Redmi Note 4 in India soon. Redmi Note 4 is the successor of popular Redmi Note 3 smartphone which is released last year. As per reports, Xiaomi India is all set to launch its first company product of the 2017 next week.
Redmi India official twitter account revealed that New Redmi product will be released on January 19th in New Delhi, India. The company tweeted “19 January 2017 – Save the date as we unveil a new #Redmi device! MiProductLaunch … to keep yourself updated! [SIC]”. Now, It is expected that Xiaomi will launch Redmi Note 4, as its predecessor Redmi Note 3 was also released around same time last year in India.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was unveiled in China last year and features a 5.5-inch FullHD display with a 2.5D curved display, thereby giving a pixel density of 401ppi. The phone is expected to come in different RAM (2GB/3GB/4GB) and storage (16GB/32GB). The storage is expandable to 128GB using a microSD card. The device is backed by a 4,100mAh non-removable battery and that might also support fast charging technology.
It features a full metal unibody design and Though these are the similar specifications as on its predecessor Redmi Note 3. But unlike the Chinese variant, which was launched with MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 4 will be launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU and Adreno 506 GPU. Xiaomi still cannot sell MediaTek powered smartphones in India, due to a court injunction.
Redmi Note 4 smartphone will runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 8.1 on top. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes in three colour variants that include dark grey, gold and silver models in China. t is expected to cost anywhere between Rs 10,000 and Rs 13,000.
