BCCI Announced Guwahati, Trivandrum Host Debut International Games: It is a huge moment for the fans in Guwahati and Trivandrum as BCCI announced these two cities to host their first international game during the packed season of 23 games at home by the end of this year. This season will allow Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka to home before flying to South Africa by the end of December.

Between September and December this year, India will host Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka for three Tests, 11 One-Day Internationals and nine Twenty20 Internationals. Australia will tour India for five one-dayers and three T20Is between September 17 to October 11. New Zealand will be hosted by India for three one-dayers and three T20I between October 22 to November 7.

Sri Lanka will conclude the home season for India with three Tests, three ODI’s and three T20I games spanning between November 15 to December 24 . So here is the schedule for all the games that India will be hosting after their tour in Sri Lanka.

First, Australia will play the ODIs which are slated to be held in Chennai, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Indore and Kolkata while the T20Is will be played in Hyderabad, Ranchi and Guwahati. New Zealand will be hosted by India for three one-dayers in Pune, Mumbai and Kanpur and as many T20Is in Delhi, Cuttack and Rajkot.

Sri Lanka will conclude the home season for India with three Tests in Kolkata, Delhi and Nagpur, three ODIs in Dharamsala, Mohali and Vizag, and three T20Is to conclude their tour spanning between November 15 to December 24 in Kochi/Thiruvanantpuram, Indore and Mumbai.

Amitabh Choudhary, BCCI acting secretary, said the dates for the three tours had not been finalised yet. “The dates of the matches have deliberately not been frozen today because the logistics must factor in local factors such as festivals because, as you know, Durga Puja being what it is in the whole of eastern India and not only in West Bengal and other public holidays and logistics of distance.”
