Fans Disgruntled Over BCCI: We have seen the 4th ODI between India and Srilanka. There is fury from fans who love Sachin and his No. 10 jersy so much. So they came to social media and posted that Jersy No. 10 will be only for Sachin and he is retired. The No.10 Jersy shall not be given to anyone after him. Shardul, who was assigned Jersy No.10 has been part of the Indian set-up since 2016 under Anil Kumble when he toured the West Indies.

He was included in the squad for the various home Test series as well but was released to play in domestic cricket. He then featured in the IPL for Rising Pune Supergiants. While fans were satisfied with his bowling performance, they criticised him for his choice of jersey number. The legendary No.10 Jersy will be only for Sachin Tendulkar not to anyone else, says the cricket fans.

Fans Disgruntled Over BCCI Who Gave Jersy No.10 to Shardul Thakur:

Here is what the fans had to say,

@bcci Jersey No. 10 was Pride & Property of @sachin_rt and retired with him. Now no one can ever have this Jersey @imShard

Hey @BCCI , WTH? How can you assign #10 Jersey to @imShard ? There is only one guy worth it & he is retired now. Hope you rectify this asap.

@imShard plz change ur jersy number, bcoz its belong to @sachin_rt and its retire from world cricket,Hope @BCCI will understand.

Shardul has taken a wicket in his debut ODI and just given 26 runs in the 7 overs he bowled. MS Dhoni played a key role in helping debutant Shardul Thakur claim his first ODI scalp. MS Dhoni gave a confirmation over Niroshan Dickwella’s wicket where umpire has given not out and finally review said its out which gave Shardhul his first ODI wicket.

Shardul is expected to feature in India’s last ODI match against Sri Lanka after Virat Kohli said that he would continue to experiment with the team’s line-up.
