India Vs New Zealand 3rd ODI 2016 Highlights: India is in a very strong position in the series taking a 2-1 lead in the Paytm ODI series against New Zealand. New Zealand started very well but didn’t put the consistency in the middle overs which lead to the downfall of New Zealand side. Indian bowlers did good and restricted to a good score.

The tail enders did a very good job for the New Zealand. Ninth wicket partnership took New Zealand to a defendable score. But Indian batsmen never gave up and did what they had to do.

India won the toss and elected to field first. Dhoni is in a row for batting second and chase down the target. New Zealand Openers Guptil and Latham started very well. Guptil is on a fire to bring New Zealand an another victory after a good second ODI. He hit 2 sixes of Hardik Pandya.

Latham Joined the party and continued his form. But Umesh Yadav gets a break through once again by taking the wicket of Guptil. Kedar Jadhav once again proved himself as a bowler taking 3 wickets. Ross Taylor played some shots to steady the New Zealand Innings. But New Zealand lost the momentum after Ross Taylor dismissed by Amazing Dhoni Stumping. Ross Taylor didn’t have the time to even see how Dhoni did the stumping. At one stage New Zealand were 153/2 and they were down to 199/8. Then Henry and Neesham Partnership 84 for the ninth wicket took New Zealand to a strong 285/10 in 49.4 overs.

Rohith and Rahane gave a steady start but they got out in a small succession which made Kohli and Dhoni into the crease. Kohli was put down by Ross Taylor at the score of 6 who eventually made an amazing knock of 154. Dhoni on the other side played an interesting 80 after a long time who promoted himself to No. 4 ahead of Manish Pandey. After Dhoni got out, Manish Pandey and Kohli finished off in style to bring a victory to Indian team. Now India lead the series 2-1.
