Supreme Court to Announce BCCI Officials: After many allegations that BCCI is facing, supreme court want to put an end to all those by announcing BCCI officials today. Anurag Thakur who was the previous President of BCCI was removed from his chair by the committee report given by Lodha Panel. The officials will be the part of Committee of Administrators (COA) for unspecified period of time.

Supreme Court to Announce BCCI Officials, Part of COA:

The report which was given by Justice R.M. Lodha Committee which gave a conclusion for the decisions of BCCI and which also taken care of radical reforms in cricket, stated that the COA will oversee the BCCI’s administration through its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and that “it will have the power to issue all appropriate directions to facilitate due supervision and control.”

The court is hearing the matter today to announce the appointment of a new set of administrators who will run the BCCI until fresh elections are held. The Supreme Court which is the top court had observed that Thakur prima facie appears to have committed matter of perjury in relation to demanding an intervention via a letter from the International Cricket Council (ICC) in order to sidestep the implementation of the Lodha Committee recommendations.

The High Court has stayed the newly elected office-bearers from functioning. I have come here out of respect for the High Court, to meet all the people concerned with the BCCI, inform them of the scope of the High Court order and to have discussions with the BCCI council,” Justice Mohan.
