Pawan Kalyan, the actor turned Politician and the head of Jana Sena Party is visiting Vizag today and will participate in the agitation which will be focusing on the fight against privatisation of Dredging Corporation of India extend his support to their campaign against privatisation of the profit-making company. Pawan Kalyan will intensify his political tours post the release of ‘Agnyathaavaasi’.
The protest will take place in three stages starting with analysing the problems and getting to know before hand in the first stage. In the second, an assessment of the government’s approach to the issues will be made. In case there is a failure of governmental action, political accountability will be demanded. And if that fails, in the third stage, direct protests will be carried out.
The tour will begin at Visakhapatnam where Pawan will meet the employees of the Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) who are on a warpath against the Central proposal of privatisation of the PSU. On Dec 7, he will inspect the Polavaram project and elicit public opinion over the row. The next day, he will meet with the students of Fathima Medical College in Vijayawada whose seats have got cancelled.
He will interact with contract electricity staff and lecturers too. On December 9, Pawan will inspect the land where the Jana Sena Party office is proposed to be built and console the kin of the boat capsize victims in Ongole. Pawan released a song ‘Chalore Chalore Chal’ to sensitise youth on various pressing issues.
