Telugu film Bharat Ane Nenu at the Box Office worldwide. Interestingly, Bharat Ane Nenu has grossed an impressive Rs. 5.80 lakh on its opening weekend at the Kerala Box Office. Though the film had a limited release only in the multiplexes of Kerala, but it managed to perform well in most of the places across the Kerala Box office. On Friday Bharat Ane Nenu minted Rs. 80,000 while on Saturday and Sunday, the Mahesh Babu starrer has minted Rs. 2.25 lakh and Rs. 2.75 lakh respectively.
After the film’s success, fans of the Telugu superstar requested him to release the film dubbed in Hindi and on Sunday, director Koratala Siva told news agency IANS that their wish will be fulfilled soon. Talking about the immediate plans for Bharat Ane Nenu, the director said: “Seeing the impact of the film’s political message, we are now planning to dub the film in other Indian languages including Hindi. We should’ve done this from the start. We should’ve known that the craving to see a new political awakening is pan-India. We are taking the film to other parts of India apart from Andhra Pradesh. We feel the political message of the country is relevant to every Indian.”
Koratala Siva, who has directed films such as Mirchi, Srimanthudu and Janatha Garage, doesn’t like the idea of sequels and remakes but he told IANS that he may make an exception for Bharat Ane Nenu. “The story of Chief Minister Bharat is too relevant and too pervasive to be forsaken. The country needs a political change. Bharat represents that change,” he said.
