Telangana IT Minister KTR bags ‘Leader of the Year’ award


Dynamic Leader Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao as Received ‘Leader of the Year’ Award and The award will be presented at “National Smart City Conference” to be held in New Delhi on December 20. Union Minister of State for Urban Development Hardeep Singh Puri will present the awards. On this occasion, Business World group has invited Minister KTR for Firth National smart city conference. Earlier this year, the leader who’s got huge popularity on social media received the prestigious SKOCH IT minister of the year award in New Delhi.

From politicians and fans to celebrities from Tollywood and the sports world, KTR has been replying in his style, mostly peppering the ‘thank you’ messages with witty remarks and even personal inquiries.

One such reply was to ‘Arjun Reddy’ star Vijay Deverakonda. The young star had tweeted to KTR, addressing him ‘Ramanna’, “congratulations on winning “Leader of the Year” award! Wishing you super duper health selfishly because we need you for a long long time.”

KTR, who replied in double time, tweeted: “Thanks, Arjun Reddy… Garu wouldn’t go well with you no,” hinting at the rebellious character Vijay had played in the popular movie.

Later, when actor Vishnu Manchu tweeted his congratulations to the minister, he said thanks and did not forget to add: “Hope you’re keeping well healthwise.” And Vishnu replied: “I am getting stronger and better.”

Others who wished him on Twitter included Allari Naresh, Rakul Preet Singh, Arvind Swami, Gopichand Malineni, Meher Ramesh, Nikhil Siddhartha, Sania Mirza, Asaduddin Owaisi, US Consul General Katherine Hadda and so on.

In between, the Minister did not forget to respond to pleas of help, announcing Rs.7 lakh from Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s Relief Fund for the treatment of a two-year-old boy, Nihaal Prian of Warangal Urban, who had undergone a liver transplant.
