CMAT 2018: Online Application Registration Start on Oct 21st ; Exam on January 21, 2018


CMAT 2018: All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) has released the schedule for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2018. As per schedule, The CMAT 2018 will be conducted on 21st January 2018.  This test facilitates Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission in all Management programs. Its score is accepted by all AICTE-approved institutions/university departments/constituent colleges/affiliated colleges.

Now, AICTE invites applications for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2018.  According to official portal, “The Online Application Form for CMAT 2018 will be available from 21st October 2017 at 10:00 am onwards”.  Aspirants who are eligible and interested can apply for the exam from 21st October onwards at the official website and last date for registration is 15th, December 2017.

CMAT 2018 Online Application Registration Starts From October 21

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The CMAT is a three-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

CMAT 2018 Important Dates

  • Registration start date: October 21, 2017 (10:00 am onwards)
  • Last date for registration: December 15, 2017
  • Exam date: January 21, 2018
  • Result announcement (tentative): February 2018

CMAT 2018 Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam.
  • Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for the academic year 2018-19 can also apply for CMAT online exam.

Exam Pattern:

The question paper will have four sections each carrying 25 questions. Each section will amount to total 100 marks. The four sections will be – Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness.  Each question will carry marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted.  There will be a trial test available on the CMAT 2018 website starting October 20, 2017 which will help aspirants understand the exam pattern.
