Stylish Star Allu Arjun Naa Peru Surya has finally hit the screens on this Friday and receiving huge appreciations from everywhere. By the end of two days, the film has collected Rs. 63.86 crores at the box office worldwide. However, before the audience lines up to watch it in theatres, the film has made Rs 103 crore from sales of rights, according to collections shared by Andhra Box Office.
In East Godavari, Day 2 is Rs. 35 lakhs and total share Rs. 2.42 crores. In West Godavari, the second-day collection is Rs. 23,43,567 and the whole two days are Rs. 1,77,05,226. The day 2 collection is Uttar Andhra Rs. 80 lakhs and 2 days share are Rs. 2.82 crores. On a whole, looks like the film is going to enter into Rs. 100 crore club anytime soon.
Naa Peru Surya is about a military soldier with temperament issues. His uncontrollable rage costs him a place in Army. He is allowed to return on one condition. This challenge takes him on a journey where he revisits his past and discovers things about himself he didn’t know. The movie also stars Anu Emmanuel. The movie marks the directorial debut of Vamsi who had written for films like Temper, Race Gurram and Kick. The film on its release has opened to mixed reviews. While the Telugu star has been highly praised, the story has been called out for its flaws.
Naa Peru Surya is produced by Nagendra Babu and Sridhar Lagadapati under the banner Ramalakshmi Cine Creations. The music for the film is composed by Vishal Shekhar in which Arjun Sarja and Sarathkumar play pivotal roles along with actor Nadiya.
The Telangana government has allowed the film to release shows as early as 5 am, which promises a big opening for the Allu Arjun starrer.
