Huawei has now launched a new model of smartphone, Huawei Y9 for the year 2018 with edge to edge display and dual rear camera and dual front facing cameras. The Huawei Y9 (2018) has been unveiled in Thailand as reported by WinFuture. Price of the smartphone is yet to be announced, however, it is likely to cost somewhere around 200 Euros (approximately Rs 16,000).
The smartphone Huawei Y9 comes with a 5.93-inch IPS LCD display offering full HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered with the company owned Kirin 659 octa-core SoC is clocked at 2.36GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expandable via a microSD card. The smartphone offers a dual SIM configuration and a fingerprint sensor for security.
The best feature in the smartphone is its cameras. It has dual camera set up in both front and rear panels. In the front, the Y9 offers a 16 MP + 2 MP camera set up while in the back, the phone offers a 13 MP + 2 MP set up. A 4000 mAh battery powers the phone which is based on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. But it has slightly tweaked user interface – the Huawei EMUI 8.0.
Many of you guys might be upset with the second camera as it has only 2 MP. But, the smartphone is being launched in the mid range price and even the features of the smartphone are not the high end. So, it is a bang for the buck. Recently, the famous tipster, Evan Blass also tweeted that Huawei is working on Huawei P20 smartphones which will have three variants and one with three rear cameras.
