New Honor Quad-Camera Smartphone to be Launched by End of January, Says Huawei


New Honor Quad-Camera Smartphone: Huawei has raised its bar in the international market entering United States smartphone sales last year. Now, they promised to release a smartphone which has four camera setup in India by end of this month. Many speculations say that the smartphone will be Honor 9i Lite which was launched earlier by the company in China last month. So everyone knows how the mobile will be.

The company has also confirmed that the upcoming device will sport a glass unibody design saying, “Ensuring its consumers to stay connected while in style, the new smartphone will be equipped with a sleek looking glass unibody with mirror effect rear glass, similar to what has been seen in premium smartphones like Honor 8 and Honor 9, and other smartphones like Apple iPhone X.”

Coming to the specs, Honor 9i Lite which was launched last month has a 5.65-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 428ppi. It is powered by a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC (four cores clocked at 2.36GHz, and four cores clocked at 1.7GHz) coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery that’s rated to deliver a talk time of up to 20 hours on 3G, and a standby time of up to 24 days.

The camera department has both the front and back, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The rear camera offers PDAF autofocus, apart from LED flash, in addition. The Honor 9 Lite offers with either 32GB or 64GB of inbuilt storage depending on the variant, both of which are expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.
