OnePlus 5T Launch Confirmed with 6 Inch 18:9 Display Ratio in November

OnePlus 5T Launch Confirmed: OnePlus has once again proving to launch the next smartphone with 18:9 aspect ratio and 6 inch display. The design of the phone mimics the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG V30. A new report claims that OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 5 as early as November. A report from Gizmo China also reveals the image of the smartphone which you can see above.

GizmoChina on Monday, just like it did with the OnePlus 3T, the Chinese firm will launch the OnePlus 5T about five months after the original OnePlus 5’s launch. While in the case of the OnePlus 3T the company only changed the processor from the Snapdragon 820 on the OnePlus 3 to a slightly faster Snapdragon 821, there will be more changes between the OnePlus 5 and 5T, the report claims.

OnePlus 5T Launch Confirmed to be in November

OnePlus 5T will abandon the 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display of the OnePlus 5, and instead use a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The report adds that the Slate Grey variants (which includes the 8GB RAM model) of the OnePlus 5 are out of stock in several regions including the UK, which it claims indicates OnePlus is indeed looking at launching the new model.

We have not seen the arrival of the upgraded Snapdragon 836 processor until now, so that makes it rather tough to see the launch of a new flagship from OnePlus. The biggest upgrade is said to be in display, with the company increasing the screen size of the 5T model to 6-inches with 2160 x 1080p resolution.

According to Gizmo China, “Our source has been reliable in the past, so we are 80% sure that this information will turn out to be true. The internet has been silent about the existence of the OnePlus 5T so far, therefore we’ll have to wait and see whether more details emerge in the coming weeks. The launch is said to be around early November, so there isn’t a lot of time left for its official unveil.”
