Samsung Send Galaxy S8, S8+ India Launch Invites: Samsung is doing its business to level the fiasco created by Samsung Galaxy Note 7. So, it is releasing its new smartphone S8 in India as soon it is available in the international market. Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus invites sent for the launch event on April 19th which kick starts at 12 PM in New Delhi. The price of Galaxy S8 and S8+ is still unknown.

Recent reports of Samsung Galaxy S8 show that, S8 and S8+ will be launching two variants which depends on the market. One is Snapdragon 835 processor variant and the other is Samsung’s own¬†Samsung Exynos 8895 processor.¬†The Qualcomm SoC variant will only be available in select regions including the US, while the Samsung SoC variant will be available in most other regions, including India.

One of the interesting aspects of Galaxy S8 mobiles is that it comes featuring dual-edge curved display, minimal bezels on the top and bottom, and 18:5:9 aspect ratio. Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch QHD+ (1440×2960 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The other variant of Galaxy S8+ sports a 6.2-inch QHD+ (1440×2960 pixels) Super AMOLED display. Both S8, S8+ sport 12-megapixel ‘Dual Pixel’ rear camera while there is an 8-megapixel front camera on board as well. Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will come powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC.

The new Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be powered by an octa-core 10nm processor (four cores clocked at 2.3GHz + four cores clocked at 1.7GHz). Galaxy S8, S8+ will be available in other variants which includes the change in processors to Exynos 8895 SoC variants which will be released in selected markets, including most probably India. Both the handsets pack 4GB of RAM and come with 64GB inbuilt storage while also supporting expandable storage via microSD card (up to 256GB).
