Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today Escaped from Fire Accident as a bag that was part of the CM’s office luggage caught fire right before the take-off of his chopper. According to sources in the state police department, the security personnel detected smoke coming out of a small bag containing VHF wireless set in the chopper, minutes before it was supposed to take off from the helipad. They immediately threw it out and the security personnel took it away from the helipad.
This shocking incident happened when KCR was about to leave from a Helipad in Karimnagar. The security personnel threw the bag 100 meters away from the chopper and they took KCR to safety. After some time, reports confirmed that the smoke erupted from a VHF Communication device faced a short circuit.
The Chief minister’s son and Cabinet Minister KT Rama Rao said he was safe.”Just checked up with CMO team. All is well with Hon’ble CM and he is continuing his tour in Adilabad district,” he tweeted.”The VHS set used by the police caught in short circuit was found and removed immediately. The CM and others traveling in the helicopter are safe,” the Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy was quoted as saying.
According to reports, KCR was at Murmur in Ramagundam to lay the foundation stone for the lift irrigation project.

As of now, the situation is very much under the control by CM’s personnel and the tour would continue as per the schedule.
